Drivers can finance their vehicles thanks to RCI.

After that’s sorted, they can get on the road. And RCI’s portal also makes it easy for these drivers to manage their finance agreement once it’s up and running. Our mission was to get more of them to use it.

RCI Financial Services is the UK’s finance partner for Renault, Nissan, Infiniti and Dacia.

Its customers can access an extremely handy online portal, which contains all their account information in one place, alongside FAQs and offers. It’s an efficient way for customers to find what they need – and RCI wanted us to get more people using it.

CLEAR MESSAGING WITH A PERSONAL TOUCH

We ran a campaign incorporating several different elements, including email and DM. Our messaging gave RCI’s customers a clear idea of the benefits of activating their online portal and how to do it, and came with increased personalisation in the form of their vehicle details and automatically populated customer ID.

Activation across the nation

Customers activating their portals were also tempted by a sparkling offer in the form of a prize draw to win £250 of car wash vouchers.

When it came to the figures, our emails and DM activity resulted in a big boost in activations. Emails achieved a click-through-rate of 9.51%, while the total number of customers activating their online portal wasn’t far short of 7,000 – a conversion rate of 9.67%.
